• EDEXCEL BTEC LEVEL 4 HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN COMPUTING & SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT
• EDEXCEL BTEC LEVEL 5 HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN COMPUTING & SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT

• Edexcel BTEC Level 4 HNC

  The Edexcel BTEC Level 4 HNCs in Computing & System Development are qualifications with a minimum of 120 credits of which 50 are mandatory core.

  The Edexcel BTEC Level 4 HNC programmes must contain a minimum of 65 credits at level 4.

• Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND

  The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HNDs in Computing & System Development are qualifications with a minimum of 240 credits of which 65 are mandatory core.

  The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND programmes must contain a minimum of 125 credits at level 5.

• Duration 2 years
  24 hours contact per week
  2 semesters per year
  1st Semester: 1 Aug – Jan15
  2nd Semester: 1 Feb – June 30
  Summer break: 1 July – July 31

Note: You do not need a postgraduate qualification to gain employment. A potential employer will be more impressed by your enthusiasm to gain professional status and by relevant industrial experience. However, a master’s degree or equivalent qualification is required for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. Those with a B. Engineering, foundation degree or HND can apply for incorporated Engineer status (I.Eng.)
